Many of life’s problems can have legal answers
The 2024 Victorian Law Week program is now live.
We all need information about our legal rights and responsibilities.
Difficult neighbour? Boss underpaying you? Think you’ve been scammed?
Whether your problem is big or small, once in a lifetime or every day, learn how the law can help at Victorian Law Week.

With well over 100 community-run events running from 20 – 26 May, you can find legal answers to everyday problems, get legal help and learn more about the law.
Events take place in-person and online across Victoria, and provide an opportunity to talk with experts and identify where the law can help in everyday life.
Victorian Law Week is also a chance to explore the Victorian legal system, who is driving change, and discover more about how the law works.
Whether it’s a webinar to help you navigate a problem with your home, talking with a lawyer to solve a family issue or joining a discussion on rights and discrimination, there’s bound to be an event that could help you.
We’d like to thank the organisations whose generosity has enabled us to produce Victorian Law Week 2024. Our sponsors are the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victorian Inspectorate, Victorian Legal Aid, Deakin University Law School, Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner. Our supporters are the Law Institute of Victoria, Victorian Bar, Victorian Ombudsman and Federation of Community Legal Centres.
