Digital spaces to support better justice
Victoria Law Foundation (VLF) runs websites, online events and social media channels (online channels) to share information and improve understanding of the law.
Across our online channels, we encourage people to post, comment, share and help us create vibrant online communities that support better justice.
We have these moderation guidelines to encourage honest and respectful engagement, ensure safe online spaces and minimise the potential for harm in our online community.
The following guidelines are in place across all our online channels and will be enforced by our moderators regularly from 9 am to 5 pm AEST Monday to Friday and less often outside these hours.
If someone breaches these guidelines, we will remove the material. We are happy to discuss the moderation of our channels.
Our Communications Team moderate our online channels. Please report anything that you feel is inappropriate or that breaches these guidelines as soon as you can to help with this moderation.

Guidelines
We want to hear from you and encourage comments and questions. We ask that you simply stay on topic, respect other people’s opinions, avoid profanity, offensive statements, illegal content, and anything else that might otherwise violate our online engagement guidelines.
Also, please refrain from posting comments that have:
- unsubstantiated claims about our organisation or services
- inappropriate comments or inferences about other organisations (for example, disparaging comments, or unsubstantiated statements about their services)
- information that is false, inaccurate or misleading
- third-party confidential or non-public information
- advertising
- spam.
Posts, questions, comments and linked material that breach these rules will be deleted.
