Appointment of new Executive Director of Victoria Law Foundation

The Victoria Law Foundation is pleased to announce that Lynne Haultain has been appointed as the foundation's new Executive Director.

Ms Haultain has a background as a senior executive and is a passionate advocate for access to justice. She is Chair of the Board of Management at the Victorian Foundation for the Survivors of Torture and is a former commissioner with the Victorian Law Reform Commission. With more than a decade's experience working inside all three levels of government, Ms Haultain also headed up a Premier's advisory panel on children's services.

Ms Haultain's executive roles have included inaugural General Manager, Strategic Communications with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC); City of Melbourne and Director Communications & Culture, The Victorian Ombudsman. Ms Haultain also worked with the ABC as a Broadcast Journalist for 15 years.

Ms Haultain replaces Joh Kirby who leaves the foundation at the end of June. Ms Haultain will commence at the foundation at the end of July.
