Professor Nigel Balmer presenting at VLF Law Week

Join us for our next event that will focus on identifying and responding to need. As promised, after our last two successful events featuring international speakers, we are pleased to confirm our next speakers will focus on issues a little closer to home.

Our Public Understanding of Law Survey is almost in the field, and we aim to speak to 6,000 members of the Victorian public to understand their experience of law from the bottom-up. Keep an eye out on our website as we will be sharing some more detail about the PULS in the coming weeks.

Phase 2 of our Data Mapping Project looking at the use and utility of court and tribunal data (led by Dr Hugh McDonald) continues, and we look forward to sharing these findings. This work follows our first Data Mapping report, Apples, Oranges and Lemons: The use and utility of administrative data in the Victorian legal assistance sector.

The Victorian CLC Workforce Survey for the Federation of Community Legal Centres (led by Dr Jozica Kutin) is also close to completion.

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Research Network event, and if you have thoughts on what future events should feature do not hesitate to get in touch with me or Tenielle Hagland - your participation is invaluable!
