It’s a terrible shock when a loved one dies, whether it’s expected or not. At the same time, there are many decisions and practical arrangements that need to be made. So where can you go for help? The Council on the Ageing Victoria (COTA) have produced a new practical guide for partners and family on how to deal with the death of a partner, available online and in hard copy here.It includes a practical timeline that explains what you need to do from the first two days until months after the death.
