Human rights will be the focus of this year's The Law and You Forum to be held online on 20 October 2020.

The 2020 Law and You Forum Rights limited: human rights in Victoria in the time of COVID-19 will bring together a panel of experts to discuss the impact and implications of the pandemic response on our human rights.

About the event

What are your human rights? Where do they come from? And what happens when they are constrained?

The COVID-19 restrictions have put our human rights in the spotlight like never before. Human rights protection is suddenly very real and very local. Could the current debate lead to an Australian national charter or bill of rights? And what difference would that make?

Register now and tune in to hear from expert panellists; Inala Cooper, Hugh de Kretser, Maria O’Sullivan and Mohamed Nur.
